Environmental Compliance Specialist

An Environmental Compliance Specialist evaluates construction sites to ensure our clients are in compliance with various environmental permits, namely the VPDES construction general permit and Virginia Water Protection permits.
On a given day, the inspector drives to and inspects several construction sites, meets with site personnel regarding observations, documents and prints reports onsite, and completes other paperwork activities.
This position requires attention to detail, self-motivation, map/site-plan reading skills, the ability to communicate clearly in writing, and an emphasis on customer service. Candidates must be able to perform sometimes strenuous hiking over uneven or muddy terrain in all weather conditions in VA.

Required: Driver’s License
Preferred: BA/BS in applicable field desired
