Compliance Professionals offers a wide variety of environmental compliance services supporting a project’s full life cycle: from pre-construction, through construction, and into post-construction. We even have services to assist with the smooth transition from development to final owner regarding stormwater management facilities.

Pre-Construction

We assist our clients with environmental due diligence, feasibility, and permitting services.

During Construction

A core service for which we are well known is our environmental compliance inspection and audit services. Primarily, these services assist our clients with site inspections and properly maintaining their SWPPP and wetland/stream impact-related documentation. We are knowledgeable, experienced, and professional.

Distinctions Include

  • Begun in 2002, we have been conducting SWPPP compliance inspections longer than most other firms in Virginia, gaining invaluable experience along the way
  • In 2007/8 when a number of national homebuilders were placed under consent order by the EPA for NPDES violations, we assisted all of them in our area with 3rd party compliance activities, lending to each company’s ultimate release from the consent order
  • Began a formal SWPPP compliance program for Dominion Power (Transmission) in 2008
  • Pioneered a digital SWPPP that was given a thumbs up from the EPA and DEQ, and which has one US Patent associated with it

Stormwater Services
& Water Quality

Once construction is completed, we work to ensure all stormwater management (SWM) facilities and permanent BMPs are maintained and fully functional throughout their lifespan. We also help smooth the transition between developer and end-user for SWM facilities and we have a unique niche in assisting both parties track proper documentation, verify onsite conditions and approvals, and facilitate a proper hand-off of ownership.

  • Customized, easy-to-use GIS application and dashboard of all SWM BMP facilities
  • Tracking of all pertinent documents (this issue alone has been a common problem for those that reach out to us)
  • Provide maintenance estimates for owners based on specific needs
